So
I just finished the book 13 Reasons Why and I have nothing but god
things to say about it. It was one of those books that you can’t put down. I
couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen in the next chapter so I just
kept turning pages. Because of this, I’m rating it 5 stars.
It’s a sad story but it also is
extremely eye opening. It made me think about how my actions affect others. It’s
extremely well written and seems like a true story. You get to know Hannah
inside and out and feel the same emotions she does. It’s fascinating how that
works. I really connected with her and what happened to her.
I also loved how the story was set
up. The main character, Hannah, committed suicide and left behind 13 reasons on
13 tapes. The tapes were sent to 13 people and the story goes through the tapes
when a boy named Clay Jensen has them. It covers his emotional rides as he
finds out why the girl he loved took her life and what part he to in all of it.
Overall I would really recommend this
book for anybody. Even if you’re not really into sad stories, I think you
should really read this. It taught me a huge life lesson in a way I didn’t
expect it to. Plus it’s definitely a page turner.
